The driver will pick you up at the hotel and drive along the beautiful highway to reach Savoca. The picturesque village where several scenes of the famous “Godfather” movies by Francis Ford Coppola were filmed. We visit the coffee-shop “Vitelli” on the main square and the church St. Lucy, where Micheal Corleone marries Apollonia.
Continue to Forza D’agrò, also used for scenes of the second movie. We can enjoy a stunning view of the coast line up to Taormina and mt. Etna. We can also visit the Annunziata church. On the way back to Taormina, we can stop for an optional visit at the Slaves’s Castle. After this last stop we drive through Giardini Naxos before reaching the Hotel.
