The driver will pick you up at the hotel and drive down to the south coast of Sicily, to reach the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Valley of the Temples. We can enjoy a walk through the valley going back through history to the 5th century B.C., visiting the temples along the pedestrian road surrounded by almond and olive groves.
After a stop for a snack in a local coffee shop, we continue to the centre of the island to reach the town of Piazza Armerina, near which is located the Roman Villa also part of the UNESCO list. We will see scenes of hunting, of mythology, of daily life. We can then drive back to your hotel at the end of the day.
