The driver will pick you up at the hotel and drive south to reach Syracuse and the southeastern coast of Sicily. We can visit the island of Ortigia with the ancient cathedral that was built using the walls and the columns of the greek temple of Athena. We walk through the narrow street of the old city centre down to Arethusa spring of fresh water where papyrus grows.

On a week day it is possible to visit the daily food market, we also visit the Apollo Temple and the Caravaggio picture. We continue to the Neapolis archaeological park with the visit of the Greek theatre and the Roman amphitheatre; the Latomy of Paradise stone quarry; the altar of Hieron. Then we continue to Noto and its church that were declared a UNESCO world Heritage Site
