After just over an hour we find ourselves at the sapienza refuge where the Jeeps await us that will take us close to, but at a safe distance from, the central crater. We see the gazes of the tourists, the continuous photos and almost the incredulity of being at the center of a lunar landscape of unparalleled charm.
